Additional District Magistrate Rajesh Yadav said proposed hike is in proportion to hike in land allotment rate done by Noida and Yamuna Expressway authorities this year. Noida authority had hiked land allotment rate up to 15 percent and Yamuna authority up to 10 percent in residential category. In category A sectors like 14A 15A 44 circle rate is proposed at Rs 194250 per sq m against existing Rs 103500 per sq m which is more than 85 percent hike in some pockets. But Greater Noida did not hike allotment rate so no hike in circle rates there. In Noida hike is only applicable for plot houses in all sectors and those buying flats need not worry as per ADM.
