BBMP e-Khata Mandatory from July 1: Rs 624 Cr Still Pending — 6 Days Left Till July 31 OTS Ends
From July 1, 2026, you cannot get a building plan approved in Bengaluru without e-Khata. BBMP made e-Khata or ePID number mandatory for all building plan approvals from July 1 under EoDB-OBPS and E-Aasthi integration.
But BBMP's own OTS scheme is flopping. BBMP's OTS scheme offers homeowners until 31st July to clear debts and data shows only Rs 463.03 crore collected and Rs 624.88 crore outstanding ahead of deadline — meaning 57% tax still unpaid with only 6 days left.
